Thurgood Marshall Green
Hough
Next month, Western Reserve Land Conservancy will cut the ribbon on the newest park in Hough, a 2.6 acre green space developed with community members. There is already a Friends group forming to steward this space! Read more here.
Storer Park
Clark-Fulton
After several years of advocacy and programming from resident Betty Jo Palmer, the City of Cleveland cut the ribbon on the updated Storer Park in Clark-Fulton. The park includes picnic tables, swings, a walking path, and more. Read more here.

Trees4Cle Application Open
Apply for pick up on: Thursday, October 2nd, 4:30pm-7:30pm
WRLC is offering free tree adoption. Multiple trees are available including small, flowering trees, beautiful shade trees, fruit trees, legacy trees, and evergreens. 250 trees are available and residents can apply for up to 2 trees. Questions? Email: trees@wrlandconservancy.org.
Trees must be planted within the City of Cleveland on private property.

FUNDING: Conservation Action Grant & Scholarship Fund, Due Sept 28th:Cuyahoga SWCD is offering small grants and scholarships for conservation education and projects aimed at improving soil and water resources, like rain gardens, native plants, education, and more. Grants and scholarship requests for up to $1,000 will be considered. Learn more and apply here.

Thurgood Marshall Green Ribbon Cutting, Fri, Oct 3rd: Join Western Reserve Land Conservancy and community partners in Hough for the official unveiling of the Thurgood Marshall Green — a new 2.6 acre park designed alongside community.
Neighbor Nights, All month, various dates/locations: Join Neighborhood Connections for Neighbor Nights in Buckeye, advocacy workshops, and weekend retreats for community leaders—spaces for neighbors and changemakers to connect, collaborate, and brig ideas to life.
