Have you submitted an application to the City of Cleveland Community Projects in Parks Program?
We want to hear from you!
After launching in May of this year, we learned the Community Projects in Parks Program (CP3) was paused due to staffing changes at City Hall.
The Cleveland Parks & Greenspace Coalition is working to ensure this program is back as soon as possible, and we want to know how many community members have attempted to submit applications.
This program transforms resident’s ability to improve city parks, allowing a clear pathway for making small improvements and entering into annual stewardship agreements with the city.

Better Streets Committee Meetings, Oct. 9th, 15th, 16th, 22nd, 28th: Bike Cleveland hosts meetings of neighborhood residents to improve the safety and comfort of your hyper-local streets. You can join in Buckeye, Collinwood, Midtown, Old Brooklyn, and Slavic Village. More info here.
Broadway-Slavic Village Parks Meeting, Fri, Oct. 17th 8:30am-9:30am: Join residents and community members to discuss and advocate for neighborhood parks and greenspaces. In-person at Slavic Village Development. More info here.
Worley Park Ribbon Cutting, Fri, Oct. 17th 10:30am-12pm: Join Slavic Village Development and WRLC for the official unveiling of Worley Park, a community greenspace with seating, native plants, public art, and more. More information here.
Saturday Serve at Shalom & Tranquility Garden, Sat, Oct. 18th 10am-2pm: Spend time working on the garden and greenspaces at Shalom & Tranquility Garden in Brooklyn Centre. Lunch provided. More information here.
North Coast Waterfront City Club Forum, Tues, Oct. 28th, 11:30am-1pm: Learn about waterfront park and development projects from the North Coast Waterfront Development Corporation at this City Club Forum. More info here.
Neighbor Nights, All month, various dates/locations: Join Neighborhood Connections for Neighbor Nights in Buckeye, advocacy workshops, and weekend retreats for community leaders—spaces for neighbors and changemakers to connect, collaborate, and brig ideas to life.
