New Year, New Goals!
Last Thursday, Coalition members and community green space leaders came together with Trust for Public Land to offer feedback on a new national tool helping city’s conduct community engagement and ensure community-driven projects.
This is just the first of many exciting things we’re planning for 2026!

NeighborUp Action Grants
Due Monday, February 9th @ 11:59pm
You and at least two other people (who aren’t related) apply for up to $5,000 for a project or program that would make a positive difference for people in your Cleveland or East Cleveland neighborhood. Project categories are: Arts & Culture, Neighboring, and Seniors/ Intergenerational.
This grant is a great opportunity for funding your park or green space project!

Network Builder for Ward 8, Due Sun. Feb 8th @ 5pm: Neighborhood Connections is hiring a network builder to lead community weaving work in Cleveland’s Ward 8, this is an 18-month position. Learn more here.

Metroparks Summer Camp Scholarships, Open Weds. Feb 18th: Cuyahoga County residents can register for all summer nature camps. Cleveland Metroparks also offers camp scholarships for each of their many camp opportunities. You can learn more and apply here.
