Join the Cleveland Parks & Greenspace Coalition for our second Park Advocate Night of 2024 outside the Rockefeller Park Greenhouse. There will be time for park and greenspace advocates to share updates and objectives!
4:30-5:30pm: Presentation and workshop with the City of Cleveland to develop a streamlined resident park project approval process and Friends of Group agreement — this is a high priority item at the City, and you can help create it!
5:30-6:30pm: Buffet dinner, group updates, opportunity to co-create 2024 Coalition goals

Join the Cleveland Parks & Greenspace Coalition as we support community members working to improve their neighborhood parks and green spaces. LOCATIONS:
Roberto Clemente: Volunteers will be assisting with trash pick-up, can cleaning, and mural touch-ups. Hosted by Jardin 4 Life, 3690 Seymour Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113
BARRiO BOY: Volunteers will be weeding, trashing pick-up, planting sunflowers, and learning about native planting. Hosted by Jean Paul Hernandez, 3333 W 33rd St, Cleveland, OH 44109
Artha Woods: Volunteers will be assisting with basic trash/weed clean-up of the park. Hosted by New Image Block Club, Woodstock Ave & MLK Jr Dr., Cleveland, OH 44104
We need your input for a resident Park Advisory Committee in the new city Parks & Rec Dept.
One of the Coalition’s platform goals was the creation of a resident park advisory committee to advise on parks and recreation development at the City of Cleveland, and Mayor Bibb committed to this in our 2021 mayoral forum.
The steering committee is beginning to develop a model, but we need your ideas! If you’re a Cleveland resident interested in providing feedback to help build this model, click below:

Garden Walk Cleveland, Saturday/Sunday July 13th/14th, 10am-5pm: Join the annual Cleveland tradition and visit private and public gardens from 11 Cleveland neighborhoods, from Collinwood to Glenville to West Park! Learn more here.
