Park Advocate Night in Collinwood!
60+ residents, community leaders, city staff, and organization partners came together last week to celebrate parks and green space projects

We were so inspired by the breadth, and depth, of work happening all across Collinwood, from the lakefront to the neighborhoods. THANK YOU to all of the amazing organizations and community members who came out to share and learn.

NeighborUp 2026 Weaver Awards
Application due Monday, August 17th
The Weaver Awards will honor 20 individuals and groups from Cleveland and East Cleveland whose work brings people together, bridges divides, and strengthens the social fabric of their communities. Each award recipient will receive up to $3,000 to support their continued community-building efforts.
In partnership with the Aspen Institute. You can learn more here. You can also nominate someone for the Weaver Award, due August 10th!
NeighborUp Action Grants
Application due Monday, August 31st
You and at least two other people (who aren’t related) apply for up to $5,000 for a project or program that would make a positive difference for people in your Cleveland or East Cleveland neighborhood. Project categories are: Arts & Culture, Neighboring, and Seniors/ Intergenerational.
You must attend a Grantseeker Workshop to apply. More info here.
The Ohio Social Prescribing Collaborative (OSPC) is building a map of nature-based or greenspace resources, programs, and spaces that OSPC members can refer residents to for health and wellness services.
